Lauren Cardenas is a Latinx print artist from Texas and art professor at the University of Mississippi. Her current work focuses on everyday objects and we are delighted to have her join our 2022 campaign Fiber is Every Day. Cardenas has worked with fiber not only as a medium but as a subject through her work with the Black Rock Press Redfield Fellowship and as editor of PIECRUST magazine. Cardenas brings new energy to our 2022 Oxford Fiber Festival.
