Yarn Only Pop Up: More Info Ahead

Ok Ok! We teased out it in our last blog post, but you need MORE. Here are all the details you need to join our first Pop Up Shop.

Date: April 1st

Time: Friends Only shopping is from 4-5 pm, Open to the Public is 5-7 pm

Where: It’s a house party! 1515 Jefferson Ave Apt #4, Oxford, MS. Parking will be LIMITED. Please plan to carpool or park and walk (the condo is VERY close to the Square and The Graduate).

What is it: A good time. A yarn-focused house party. A pop up shop. An amazing opportunity to stock up on deeply discounted yarns from former Yarns Downtown of Columbus, Mississippi. When we put out a call saying we wanted to host a new, yarn only program, we found this amazing opportunity to partner with Yarns Downtown. They agreed to host a one night Pop Up Shop for our Friends and their friends. Early shopping (4-5 pm) is reserved for Friends of the Oxford Fiber Festival (anyone who bought a raffle ticket or became a member has already reserved their space!), but the shop opens to the public (for free!) from 5-7 pm.

Is there MORE?: There’s always more. Can’t make it in person? The Oxford Fiber Festival volunteers will be ready to shop for you- virtually! What a time to be alive. Email Stacey at OxfordFiberFest@gmail.com to set up a time for one of the volunteers to Facetime you and be your hands on shopper in real time. We’ll walk you through the pop up shop, pick up your Friends goody bag, package up your purchases, and mail them to you first thing the next morning.

About Being a Friend: $5 Friends receive access to early shopping, snacks, and games. $10 Friends receive all of that plus a goody bag from the Oxford Fiber Festival. $25 Friends receive all of that PLUS an upgraded bag and free skeins inside. Anyone who bought a raffle ticket or became a Friend during the 2022 Oxford Fiber Festival has ALREADY reserved their spot and bag.
